Jim Rogers : There are Trillions of Dollars being Printed

ET Now: Even as markets tumbled on Fed stimulus uncertainty, the stimulus support from other central banks is still high. How does that work for global economy and for various asset classes?

Jim Rogers : You know there are trillions of dollars being printed. You give me a trillion dollars, and I will show you a very good time.
The people, who are receiving all of this money, are having a very good time right now. Unfortunately it is not official and it is going to come to an end. I do not know when it comes to an end, all of us are going to pay a price and even the ones who are having a good time right now with the all official stimulus are going to have problems too.

Jim Rogers More optimistic about Agriculture than most other things

ET Now: Agricultural commodities have not been able to sustain at higher levels. Coffee, corn, soyabean, rice all of them have declined from the highs they made earlier this year. How should one approach agri commodity as a group now?

Jim Rogers: Well, I am more optimistic about agriculture than most other things. Inventories of agriculture products are near historic lows, may be we will have great crops everywhere this year and they will stay down, but inventories are near historic lows. We are running out of farmers, the average age of farmers is getting very old throughout the world. So I am still extremely optimistic about agriculture on a secular picture.

Jim Rogers: Massive amounts of good news for Gold

One of things I’ve learned in the investment world, when something is ‘good news’ for [an asset market] and it goes down, you better be very worried, so of course it looks bad for gold right now. There’s massive amounts of good news. It should be going up.

Commodities are still in a long term bull market

In all bull markets there have been corrections, in the stock bull market 1982 - 2000. In 1987 stocks went down 40 to 80 percent, people said its finished. 1989, 1990, 1994 many times stocks scared the socks of a lot of people. It was not the end of the bull market and it is my view that's whats happening here with commodities.
